Folding Fan Quilt Block - Paper Piecing Pattern

This is a digital PDF pattern for the Folding Fan Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) quilt block only (not the entire quilt).
 
The download zipped file contains the following two PDF files:
 
"Fan Block FPP Pattern" is the printable FPP pattern to make one Folding Fan Quilt Block in 14" x 10". Print multiple copies to make more blocks.
 
"Fan Block Layout" is the layout guide showing how the segments are sewn together to form the complete Folding Fan Block.
 
This quilt block finishes with exactly a quarter inch seam allowance all around. You can make multiple fan blocks and add sashing strips between them to make a quilt. You can also add border strips around the fan block in the same background fabric to make any size square or rectangle block as you desire, and then incorporate it into your quilt with other quilt blocks. A single fan block can also me made into a pillow cover or wall-hanging. Perfect for Chinese New Year, Chinese wedding, or any oriental-themed interior decoration.
 
A good command of sewing, quilting and FPP techniques are needed to complete the block.
 
All patterns are full sized. Be sure to print at 100% scale.
 
You will need a PDF reader to open the files and a printer to print the templates. Zipped files will require file extractor programs like Winzip ro Winrar. Your computer might already have a built in file extractor program.
